• 6 lessons/week: $1445/month

 

LEASING PACKAGES for experienced riders:

• 1 lesson/week on a guaranteed horse: $805/month
• 2 lessons/week on a guaranteed horse: $1165/month
• 3 lessons/week on a guaranteed horse: $1520/month
• 4 lessons/week on a guaranteed horse: $1875/month
• 5 lessons/week on a guaranteed horse: $2220/month
• 6 lessons/week on a guaranteed horse: $2505/month
• full lease (includes some private lessons, almost exclusive use of horse, up to 6 days/week): $2900/month - $3300/month

 

LEASING PACKAGES for private lessons or beginners usually cost more than the above and are negotiated on a case by case basis

BOARD IN PORTOLA VALLEY

• stall: $1100/month
• stall-paddock: $1175/month
• includes shavings, automatic waters, hay cubes 2x/day
• does not include turnout, blanketing, handling-holding for vet or farrier, feeding of supplements, or any other services
• Rancho Viejo (the owners of our Portola Valley facility) also offers pasture board for retired horses, no amenities or facility use: $350/month
  
  

TRAINING IN PORTOLA VALLEY(on your horse)

• full training, mostly private lessons: $1500/month
• full training, one private each week: $975/month
• partial training is 10% off the training prices when on our horses
  

 

BOARD AND TRAINING IN SAN JUAN BAUTISTA (on your horse):

• Board and full training: $3300/month to $3400/month
• all horses in either a double stall or stall paddock, with an average of 8 hours of turnout each day
• includes 2-4 feedings/day of hay and supplements (cost of supplements, extra grass hay not included)
• includes all lessons and schooling sessions on your horse, mostly private lessons

 

 

GENERAL NOTES:

Unless otherwise indicated, all lessons are groups, generally with no more than 4 students in a group, very rarely as many as 8 students in a group. We don't charge extra for private lessons unless they are guaranteed privates; if a group lesson ends up becoming a private because not all students show up, we usually shorten the length of the lesson.

All prices (except board) are based on a 4-week month and monthly package pricing assumes that all lessons will be used within a 30-day period or a calendar month.
